SHREVEPORT, La. – A woman has been taken into custody following a violent domestic incident that occurred early Tuesday morning on August 20, 2024. The Shreveport Police Department reported that the stabbing took place in a residence located in the 4300 block of Illinois Avenue, an area known as Mooretown.

Officers responded to the scene around 2 a.m. and found a man with multiple stab wounds. Reports indicate he sustained serious injuries to his back, neck, and arm. Emergency medical personnel transported him to a local hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
