Delta Authors on Tour event Saturday

Shreveport, Louisiana – May 15, 2024

Authors from a variety of genres will meet the public as part of a literacy experience planned for this weekend in Shreveport. The Delta Authors on Tour event will be held Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at Southern University Shreveport’s Jesse N. Stone Building. Admission is free.

Event Details

The tour will feature eight authors from within the sorority, representing the Southwest Region.

“We are honored to have been chosen as the host chapter for the Delta Authors on Tour event,” said Sharon Penson, Shreveport Alumnae Chapter president. “This is an incredible opportunity for us to celebrate the literary achievements of our sisters and to promote literacy within our community, especially among our youth.”
