New Payment Method for Water Bills Rolled Out for Bossier City Residents

New Payment Method for Water Bills for Bossier City Residents

Starting from August 6th, residents of Bossier City will have a new and more convenient method to pay their water bills. The change comes as part of the collaboration with Tyler Payments, aiming to streamline the payment process and make life easier for the consumers.

How Changes Will Affect Consumers

Following this change, customers will have to verify some of their personal data, including the re-registration of their online accounts. They will also need to re-enter stored payment information, as well as re-enroll in paperless billing and autopay services. However, it is noteworthy that the currently active recurring payments via First Billing will cease after July 26th.

Additionally, processing fees will see an evolution as well. The Credit Card Service Fee will be fixed at 3.50%, while eChecks will incur a cost of $0.95. Using the automated phone system for payments will come with a $0.50 fee per transaction.

Payment Options

As a result of this collaboration, customers can choose to pay their water bills online, set up an autopay system, or process their payments over the phone. This move is aimed at giving the customers a variety of hassle-free options to choose from based on their convenience and preference.

Streamlining the Payment Process

The introduction of this new payment method is expected to reduce the complexities involved in the payment process and increase the payment efficiency. By offering multiple modes of payment, the initiative aims to reduce payment delinquencies, enhance customer experience, and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Conclusion

This new payment method stands as testament to Bossier City’s commitment to upgrading its systems in tune with advancing technology and adjusting to the changing needs of its residents. This is a considerable breakthrough that will ensure a seamless, efficient, and user-friendly bill payment experience for thousands of Bossier City residents.
