Amazon Fulfillment Center in Shreveport starts hiring – No resume, no experience, no interview
SHREVEPORT, La. – The wait is almost over. The Amazon Fulfillment Center located at 1625 Corporate Drive, Shreveport, will start its hiring process from July 5, 7 p.m., after enduring a series of delays. The Shreveport establishment plans to provide around 1,000 jobs, which vary from hourly, seasonal, to flexible work.
A Job Fair with a Difference
Louisiana’s esteemed State Representative, Steven Jackson, revealed they would be hiring on a first-come-first-serve basis. Every Friday, starting from 7 p.m., the company will release between 300 and 400 positions for potential seekers. No resumes or interviews are required – once a candidate applies, the position is reserved, pending a background check and drugs screening.
“The only way you don’t get the job is if you don’t pass your background check or if you didn’t pass the drug screening,” explained Representative Jackson.
