BOSSIER CITY, La. — Big tires and crushed cars are headed back to Bossier City, La. The Kicker Monster Truck Show is booked for a January return to Brookshire Grocery Arena, with a matinee and a night show both set for Jan. 16, 2027, a Friday.
The first show starts at 1 p.m., and an evening show follows at 7:30 p.m. Doors open an hour before each one, at noon for the matinee and 6:30 p.m. for the night show, according to the arena’s event listings.
Arena officials are pitching the event as family entertainment for both diehard fans and people who have never seen the trucks up close. Expect the usual menu of car crushing, obstacle racing, big air and tricks that seem to defy gravity.
Fans who want first crack at seats can use the venue presale on Ticketmaster from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, until 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29. The presale code is MUFFLER. Everyone else can buy starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, either online or in person at the b1BANK Box Office at the arena. The matinee and evening shows are sold as separate events.
The monster trucks are part of a busy stretch on the arena calendar. Before January, the building hosts The Red Clay Strays on Nov. 6, the Sera Shreveport Black Rodeo Finals on Nov. 21, Trans-Siberian Orchestra on Dec. 10 and Pentatonix and its Christmas in the City Tour on Dec. 13.
Brookshire Grocery Arena sits in Bossier City across the Red River from downtown Shreveport and is one of the region’s main stops for touring concerts and family shows. In February, it is also set to host the SCAC Basketball Championships.
