Car lovers gather at Louisiana Boardwalk for Cajun Cruisers Car Show
SHREVEPORT, La. – Automotive enthusiasts from across the ArkLaTex visited Bossier City on Saturday (June 8) for the Cajun Cruisers Car Show. The event was held at the Louisiana Boardwalk and featured more than sixty different vehicles. There were classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, and trucks on display as well.
Supporting a Good Cause
Proceeds from the car show will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. Event organizers and car show attendees emphasized the importance of contributing to such a worthy cause.
Netta Cooper, one of the event organizers, expressed, “They are a great cause and… they help children in need, kids from the NICU, so it’s a great medical organization that helps children who have special needs. And so, it’s just a great way to help our kiddos and the community.”
Participant Dwayne Gate also shared his sentiments, saying, “We love to give back to our community as much as we can. And so, we just want to show some of the cars that we have today and… to have people come back and kind of reflect on the past.”
A Showcase of Vintage Beauties
Participants at the car show paid $20-$25 to showcase their vehicles, ranging from meticulously restored classics to souped-up muscle cars. The public was welcomed to attend the event for free, allowing car enthusiasts and families alike to admire the impressive lineup of automobiles.
Community Spirit and Appreciation
This gathering of car enthusiasts not only showcased the passion for automobiles but also demonstrated a strong sense of community spirit. By coming together to support a charitable cause, attendees highlighted the importance of giving back and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
The Cajun Cruisers Car Show at the Louisiana Boardwalk served as a platform for both car aficionados and supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network to unite in a shared mission of goodwill and celebration of automotive ingenuity.
