For every Big Ten Championship won across any sport, Zinn will receive a 5% bonus. The contract also includes performance bonuses based on the Academic Progress Rate (APR), which can range from 5% to 25%. The financial structure also incentivizes revenue generation by awarding $10,000 for every $1 million in new revenue sourced outside the Big Ten revenue, and $5,000 for every $1 million from renewing existing deals.

Should Zinn be terminated without cause, she will be entitled to any unpaid bonuses and her base salary for the remaining duration of the contract.
